Our Story

From Korea with Love

In 2009 we fell head over heels for how Koreans view food;

not just as a meal, but as an experience to share with friends and family. A quick bite would effortlessly transform into a late-night, swapping stories and dishing the latest gossip.

What’s a meal without some mouth-watering Kimchi? 

Kimchi is the heart and soul of Korean cuisine and an integral part of Korean culture.

This is what we longed for when we returned to South Africa. 

So, in 2014, we embarked on a mission to recreate the Kimchi we cherished so dearly, aiming to capture its essence and those cherished memories.

After countless trials, we think we’ve nailed it. Precision fermentation and our unique house culture bring you the authentic taste of Korea, right here at home.
